Ivory Coast’s cashew output is set to hit 1.3M tonnes by 2025/26

The Ivory Coast is indeed projecting a significant increase in its raw cashew nut output for the 2025/2026 crop, reaching 1.3 million tonnes, up from 1.15 million tonnes.
The U.S. imposed a 46% import tariff on certain Vietnamese cashew exporters in early 2025, which has created pressure on pricing and buyer behavior.
The Ivory Coast is also focusing on increasing its local processing capacity, with ambitious targets to process 50% of its cashew production by 2030, aiming to add more value to its exports.
